Not suitable for people with dust allergy

Breakfast was the only thing we enjoyed.

The room was not of satisfactory.....the room was not clean enough...there was exceptionally high level of dust in the room....we had to keep wiping everything down ourselves only because my child has dust allergy and suffered a lot from it...since she's been at the hotel she hasn't stopped sneezing...she has had an outbreak of skin rash because of the dust. We did mention the dust issue at the reception but I think the only thing that was done was the hoover... nothing had been wiped at all...our hair brush, charger, basically everything we had out in the too were covered in dust...I have never seen this amount of dust in my life. I usually don't suffer from dust allergy myself but I have to admit even I couldn't handle the dust in the room. I didn't even bother talking very much in the room because it felt as if I was swallowing the dust.The pillow case and towels had blood stains on it... didn't realise til on the last day because it was turned over so didn't see it beforehand. I would suggest that everything should be double checked before handing the room over to customers. The toilet had a sewer like smell even the handwash, tissue box was covered in dust....I really wanted to make a complaint at the desk but my husband said to leave it as we were leaving today anyway... because of this experience I have no intention of ever coming back here at this hotel.

Pleasent twixmas break within walking distance of Cambridge

Ideally located for short walk to Cambridge city centre. Excellent choice for inclusive breakfast. Friendly staff. Allowed to park and check in before allotted time. Pleasent view over lake from room window

Initially concerned about adjoining room and sound proofing but wasn't a major issue as occupent only there one night.

Not enough staff for breakfast. Food levels were low seating was hard to find and there were many tables not cleared or cleaned.

Good

End of term party, wanted somewhere to crash in peace. Lovely room, although I was quite cold and had to get up in night to adjust temp. Breakfast was help yourself with plenty of choice, good value for money.
