The Holiday Inn Express Boston-Waltham is a nice hotel with friendly staff. It is dog-friendly and has a small fenced-in dog area. The continental breakfast is not impressive, but the rooms are clean (Read More) and comfortable. The gym has the necessary equipment. There were issues with false fire alarms on two nights, indicating a management problem. Overall, guests had a comfortable stay with good breakfast options, but the location lacks convenient mass transit. Some guests had to request room cleaning and restocking.
