Terrible place, never again!

Easy location! A quiet place!

Damp smell! Dirty floor,carpet, sofas, microwave, dust everywhere! A wardrobe full with cleaning stuff, you can not put your clothes there! Three seats in living room for four people! Garden full with grass!

Good

Warm and comfortable, well equipped, great location. Easy walk into town and on the bus route. Recommend the No.4 pub around the corner for food. Friendly neighbours. Quiet location.

Parking outside the house unsuitable for a larger car. We had a small car and it received damage whilst parked. Very tight little cul de sac. Would be better to park on the road at the bottom. Take extra tea towels as only one supplied for the week.

Lack of attention to detail

Great location and house was clean and tidy. Host responded quickly and allowed us to check in early as we got there early.

We stay in Airb&b twice a month and feel this one was lacking some personal touches. After a 4 hour drive we wanted a cup of tea and coffee when we arrived. There was some tea bags and sugar after hunting for them but no coffee. We would normally expect these to be out and within easy reach with either long life milk or coffee mate. We had to go out and buy coffee. There was no plug for kitchen sink and very little watered down washing up liquid along with no bin liner and no tea towel to dry any dishes. There was no hand towel in bathroom and no hand soap with to allow people to wash their hands after being to the toilet. This is not something I would expect to have to take with me. After having to pay a 200 security deposit which is fine I had to request it back after still not receiving it 4 days after we had left and then having to send my details. Again I've never had an issue with this before deposits are normally refunded same day after checking out or at least within 24 hours and to the details that they should already have. I found this a bit strange.

The house was modern, clean and comfortable. It was well equipped and i was able to cook some meals as well as going out to eat. The owners were great and checked in with us to make sure we were OK. It was also walking distance to the sea front. We had a great stay.
