I would not recommend the location and services. No value for money.

Ocean view

The shower burnt my feet - hot water tubes under my feet. Terrible experience. Personal tried to open my room door the 1st night and 3 times! First to allocate other guests, then again and then again. I was terrified and never opened the door. I claimed for it the next morning, nobody care - nor Booking that defer it to the property. So nobody cared.

Loved the location. Setting and grounds spectacular. Ate at Almond Tree two evenings and food and service excellent.

Front desk surly and rude and anything but welcoming. Stressed that deposit against damage of 100usd required. This was acceptable but when we attempted to turn on reading lamp found it to be broken and glued back together. Back to reception to explain that we had no wish to be accountable for damaged lamp and needed it changed. Broken lamp taken and replaced by yet another rude, surly woman, not a good start.

It was Christmas period so there was some loud music noise from the town, although not the hotels fault.

Very good

We would return in a heartbeat. Be sure to take a swim in the sea at the bottom of the property!

Staying at the Hibiscus Lodge feels like stepping back in time, in a really good way. It has an understated sense of luxury that has long since past. The location cant be beat.

The rooms would really benefit from new linens.

Superb

Lovely natural gardens and birds. Pool was very nicely maintained. The provided breakfast was great

breakfast and the pool/hot tub were super! Staff accommodated me and my needs satisfactorily.

the front desk was not particularly helpful, but OK.

The view and the staff were the best part of the stay. But the room just looked a bit run down and needed to be cleaned

The view from our room was amazing and they even decorated the bed when we arrived!

There were lots of mosquitoes in our room, especially at night. They were coming from the bathroom window. We got lots of bites during our stay.

Loved this boutique hotel right on the Careibbean Sea. Would definitely stay here again if I can get reservations!

I loved the location of the property and the view of the Sea. The grounds are beautiful.

Our balcony furniture was very old and should be replaced. The hot tub wasnt warm enough and the pool could have been a bit cleaner.

Beautiful property. Need to make swimming area in ocean accessible for swimming. Need handrails and constant cleaning so it won't be slippery.

Staff seem very timid. Can be more pleasant. You have to engage them.

Superb

Relaxing stay in a gorgeous setting with great food!

Setting of this hotel is stunning. Pool was quiet and many other secluded spaces to chill out. Very clean and safe property, food was very good. Hotel was very accommodating, we had an evening bus out of Ocho Rios to our next location and they were happy to allow us stay around and use the pool and other facilities until it was time to leave.

Hot water was not available all the time and the tv in our room didnt work which would have been nice in the evenings.
