Location was great. The canal is right across the street with access through the park.

Couldn't park my truck at the cabin because the spot was too small but was able to park right down the hill and walk up.

Really over-priced for what we got

No breakfast was provided. Location across from the Cape Cod Canal was nice. Getting the door lock code in advance was helpful since we weren't sure if we'd be at the motel before the office closed at 8. However, we arrived at 7:15 and the office was already closed.

We paid $200 for one night. Granted, it was a Sat. night in late Sept. in a resort area. However, there was no hair dryer, only 1 hanger for the closet rod, a Keurig that didn't work, "well-used" furniture, only a sheet and thin bedspread--no blanket--on a cold night. The following morning I had hoped to go to the office when it opened at 8 am in order to see if they had a hairdryer, but it still hadn't opened by 8:15. I wouldn't have complained if we had paid $100 or $125, but at $200, it was really overpriced.

Office was completely dark and locked up no way to get in contact with anyone. Owner was annoyed we were checking in after 9. Its a hotel. We got our keys and when we had a bed issue she was already gone and couldnt be helped. Had to leave and find another hotel.

Disappointing

The $200 charge was outrageous for a minimally furnished and insufficiently supplied room.

I would not recommend this property. The tiny room was clean as were the sheets, I think, HOWEVER, The ONE towel supplied for 2 people was insufficient. Each of the 8 phone calls to the proprietor from 3;20 PM until 9;30 PM met only busy signals, indicating the phone off the hook. Bed sagged a bit in the middle. Message printed in the room promised water, coffee and personal contact between 8 and 10 AM. I tried the office door at 8:15-- Nobody was there. When we left at 9 AM there was still nobody in the office. We left the key in the mailbox.

This is a Minimalist Motel. Lacks basic Service, - proprietor should be available by phone if not in person. Insufficient Towel supply - 2 people should be supplied with 2 towels. Bath mat necessary since bath is so small that the entire floor can get wet and slippery when one emerges from the shower. No tissues; no spare toilet paper. Only mirror and water supply is in the bathroom. Making coffee or fixing hair is a challenge if the second person is using the bathroom. Motel Location is directly on a main thoroughfare which can be noisy.
