the room was exactly as described, with a beautiful view of the river Lys... location was also perfect for getting into the city.

unfortunately, due to the nature of our trip, which was a cycling tour from Antwerp to Ghent, and the fact that we cycled through pouring rain, we arrived a bit soaked through, and received a lukewarm welcome at reception. would have appreciated a little more enthusiasm. a simple hello everytime we passed the front desk would also have been welcome.

Best location to all the sights and Christmas markets. Large, cozy and clean room and the most wonderful breakfast weve

The absolute perfect place to stay in this storybook town. The friendliest staff, the warmest and best breakfast buffet and the most wonderful facilities. We especially enjoyed the sauna! Thank you to Mr. Shareef, his wife Ms Katra and all the staff. Highly recommended!

Quality/price ratio is better than other options in the area

The hotel was cheaper than other options in the area and well located in the old town. Room was quite spacious and had decent lighting.

Staff was not especially attentive. Hotel was cheaper than others in the area but still not that cheap for quite a budget-feeling place. Photos are definitely of the more expensive rooms because our room was very basic looking.

It was not great

There was a conference and the whole night loud music. The noise continued during breakfast/lunch/coffee breaks of the conference attendants since they mingled directly next to my room. If there was any silence from people my room was so poorly located that the music from the reception was very disturbing. I had to keep the curtains closed all time because of poor room location. In addition there was currently a person standing in my room since her card seemed to work on my door? The AC in the room was completely out of control and way to warm!
