Glen Cova Lodge

Beautiful location and scenery.

Lighting around lodge is not good, and when radiators on in lodge were very loud, they continued to give out loud expansion and banging noise..

Lovely relaxing stay.

Lovely spot and private outside space.

We arrived late and struggled to find our hut, few lights (which I get) but also few signs. Unfortunately the heating was off and it was only 10 degrees when we arrived, however the young man on duty quickly got us up and running!

Fantastic stay, would highly recommend.

location was great, hot tub was fantastic. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable.

The firewood we bought on site didnt burn after many attempts so unable to get use of the log burner.

Very good

We stayed for 2 nights but couldnt use the hot tub at all the first night as it was cold. We have stayed in a few other lodges at Forbes of kingennie and have always been able to use the hot tub both nights albeit a bit later on the arrival night. Really disappointed whats the point in having a hot tub you can only use one of the days of your stay ?

We love the area of the lodges and the onsite fishing for my partner as he is an angler. Hot tub is always a bonus on a winters night under the stars.

The overall cleanliness of the lodge was not upto the usual standards as we are frequent customers. When we arrived there was dirty toilet roll on one of the bathroom floors, the dust was really thick on window ledges,on the bedside tables with a very dead spider and around the tv area. Bottom of the bath was all dirty had to clean it myself before using it. Alot of leaves were brushed at one side of the front door where as they could have easily been swept up and put into black bag.

Incredible place to stay!

Brilliant place to stay. I stayed in the Bankside Bothy and could not fault it. Everything was incredibly clean, and there were more amenities than most self catering cabins I have been to before. Perfect for the dog as all enclosed. Will definitely be back!
