The location was great, 2 blocks away from a streetcar stop and it took us all the way into the French Quarter. Once we figured out the streetcar route and got a day pass we were moving.

We made a mistake and took the streetcar to the Audubon Zoo which doesn't actually go there, you have to walk through the park. It's quite a stretch, I recommend the zoo to everyone as it was a wonderful zoo but do yourself a favor and drive there.

Awful. Would not recommend.

Nothing.

Unclean. Sketchy. I was not required to show ID at check in. The keys were given to us by another guest who took it upon herself to actually go into our room and scope it out before we arrived. The walls were not properly painted. The room was absolutely filthy- worse than a college frat. There was no basic amenity- not even cups for water. We were so thirsty with no way to hydrate ourselves unless we left. The sheets smelled like other people. The towels were dirty. It was risky for our health to stay here because the insulation and fiber glass was just open and falling out of the window seal. There was not a complete seal on the wall to floor so creatures could come in. VERY unsecure place and so unprofessional

The House has an original style and most of the time we were alone. The streetcar is nearby but It takes about 45 min. to the Canal Street. Unfortunately there was only one bike left, The communication was okay.

A place to feel at home, comfortable, great neighbourhood and fresh air

I loved the feel of the house and rooms. It was like staying in an old guesthouse, or even, just a house. Spacious, big rooms, a pool table downstairs, character and quirks. Windows that open with fresh air, a balcony to sit and read, books to read. So much more peaceful than a traditional hotel. The neighbourhood was great too, I spent a lot of time exploring and seeing local music.

As this is more a home away from home setup, it was more rustic and therefore a bit dusty and worn, with some cute old wallpaper and windows with beautiful plants growing through them. I didn't mind as I'm sick of sterile hotel rooms, but just something to be aware of.

Superb

Would come back!

Very nice and cute house in New Orleans. Feels a bit like having your own home there. Also very nicely decorated and very clean, even though it could probably use a few renovations. Owner was really kind and helpful even though we didn't meet in person, they made sure we were okay and we had everything we needed, very much appreciated. Location was really convenient, the streetcar was just a few feet away, also we could park in the house's driveway. Area looked really safe too.
