The room was very small with a bathroom in a cupboard you could here every thing a bit embarrassing.

Disappointing

The property was tired and in need of decoration. Walls heavy marked in stairwell and paintwork scratched throughout. We stayed in Room 6. Bathroom dirty - shower internally covered in heavy mould and tap wear in need of a good clean. Needs heavier curtains or blackout blind to avoid room being lit throughout night by building floodlights. Found it like daylight at 2.30am. Breakfast limited choice of cereal, only one piece of cold toast provided on request. Insufficient hot food for all guests.

Clean, comfortable accommodation with friendly, helpful staff.

The Distillery Guest House was a nice, clean, comfortable, well-located accommodation. My wife and I stayed 1 night on the way home from the Isle of Harris via the Skye ferry. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very good. We also found the bed very comfortable which was important to us.

The accommodation was a little 'tired': just generally in need of updating/a makeover.

It's located a little bit far from the center, which was not a big problem for me. The building has its own old charm. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all my questions.

The room was extremely small and could be quite depressing for a long stay. I've seen a mold at a bathroom, it was quite cold and the washbasin clogged after just washing hands - the wated didn't flash at all( The bed was quite old and not very comfortable. But it was just 1 night stay for me, and I assume double rooms are better, than this single room I had.

Mums birthday

Stayed here for my mother's 80th after a trip on the jacobite train...after breakfast the next day they left a birthday card at our room door with a lovely message inside...so thoughtfull and really made our day,thanks again xxx

I would stay again

Great location, walking distance to centre and shops. Bed was comfy Everything that was needed Lovely outside area with hammock and small kids play set. Would be great to sit outside there in summer! Bridge with stream at back of property

It would have been nice to have a blind in the bathroom. The glass is frosted so it was ok but the room is at the main entrance so it would have made it a bit more comfortable The property is a little outdated and could do with a little update but I would stay again

Cosy room, tasty breakfast, and a handy location for visiting local places of interest.

Staff were great - warm and welcoming. Breakfast was very nice too - as someone who enjoys good coffee, the coffee they served at breakfast was particularly tasty.

Nothing met with disapproval, everything was fine.
