Location,

The radiators were on a timer, in my personal opinion that doesn't work for everyone. Coming out of a shower and the room being extremely cold not a nice feeling. Cheaper hotels I've stayed in. All had manual temperature boxes in the rooms. That's the best option, again that's just a personal opinion. On arrival I had to buy and clean under the toilet rim as it was absolutely filthy with mould. This shouldn't have been presented in this manner. But apart from the mould, and radiators not on or of when I would have preferred.. no issues. staff couldn't have been friendlier. Room was cosy . Oh tv quite frequently reset itself. Again not a major issue but not ideal when watching a film lol!!! None of the negatives I've mentioned would deter me from staying again. However., I'd be more likely to be vocal and say something. Overall - 6 out of 10

Hotel of nightmares

Good points- Good location, the staff were friendly and the hotel was clean.

Bad points - l Long wait to check in Room 'appeared to be lovely' for the first few hours then the nightmares began. First with my freezing cold shower. After phoning and complaining 3 times still no water and no other rooms. This spoiled my NYE I was so stressed and annoyed. Eventually we got out and late for our venue. Came back to the hotel around 1am to go to sleep and the noise from the room next door was unbearable I thought there's no point complaining as they have no ather rooms. The noise went on all the next day till we ee couldn't take anymore. I went and complained along with a few others. There were a group of young lads in the room next to us banging, music up and shouting. We got moved to the room below the young lads I refused it. Next room they moved us to was freezing cold so was the 3rd room they moved us to then eventually 4th time lucky we got a room after wasting half our day with staff in the hotel!!!! And breakfast well......what can I say how they can stand there watching people looking for something to eat is disgraceful. I also had a turkey sandwich for lunch one day and I think they tried to poison me with salt it was disgusting they asked me if I wanted something else but I refused as my daughter gave me half her pizza. What I would like is a refund gor my stay at this hotel as it was diabolical. A refund would be the right thing to do.

Just a bad experience

Not much. Location wise, 30 min walk to city centre.

Lots. Rooms were ok in size ok bedding was dirty with stains and mascara on my pillow. Parking is not really parking as its a 10 cars space and you never find any empty. Its advertised as a hotel with parking but you end up parking on the street and paying 10 for 3 hrs. It says they offer you a drink to enjoy while waiting to check in, I was never offered anything and we were a group of 4 people. The 2 people before me were offerede glasses of prosecco. The facilities in the bathroom not great, mould around the bath and cracked sinks. Overall I would not recommend staying here, pay the extra 10 and stay in a proper hotel. Only reason I booked this one over other hotels was because they advertised they have private parking and wanted to save myself the trouble to find parking on the streets.
