Best resort to celebrate New Year's eve

We celebrated our New Year's eve at coco grove and my cousin said it was her best New Year ever. The buffett was splendid and there was fireworks and fire dance.

Very good

It was a short stay, but most relaxing, and enjoyable.

The food was excellent, as was the service. Much appreciated Housekeeping keeping our Villa clean and tidy daily.

The only thing I was disappointed with was the game room. It had no chalk for the cue sticks, the bridge needed repair, no darts for the dart board, could not get the overhead fans to come on. Totally neglected "game" room.

I have stayed at/visited a few different properties on the island and Coco Grove is basically without serious competition in terms of quality. The room was large and well appointed. The facilities are kept clean and well maintained. The spa treatments were good quality and reasonably priced for a hotel spa. The staff are very polite and attentive. We received excellent service. The mini bar was fully complimentary - I'm not sure if that is the case for all rooms but it was certainly a nice surprise for me!

The inside of my room was immaculately clean, so no complaints, but the outdoor terrace area was not kept clean and tidy. Some of the house rules are a little silly. People cannot wear swimwear in the Salamandas restaurant - the restaurant is literally on the beach and anyone sitting at tables next to the restaurant can wear swimwear. So whether you sit inside or outside, people will be in swimwear nearby you (and who even cares)? So the rule that "if you sit under the roof, you cannot wear swimwear" did not make sense to me. I was also surprised that we were expected to reserve a table to eat dinner at the restaurant - I think that is unusual as the hotel restaurant should always have tables available for their guests.
