Overnight stay for a Christmas function.

There was no breakfast involved but we knew that when we booked. The location was excellent for the station (Principal Hotel) and the city centre despite the garden of the property being underwater (due to very high river levels)! The property and room were spotlessly clean and lovely and warm on a raw, damp day. Correspondence with Rob was excellent throughout and particularly on the day of our arrival. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

A 2 night stay . Really friendly welcome , great location .

It was close to the town centre , the room , although small , smelt lovely whenever you entered . Warm and cosy and Rob was really friendly .

Great location, close to the train station and the city centre. Nice personal touches of restaurant recommendations and fresh milk in the fridge. Beds were really comfy. Perfect base to explore the city from.

We were at the rear of the guest house and you could hear the train line. Ear plugs were provided! This didn't impact our stay but worth being aware of.
