Exceptional

Really lovely & cozy :-)

Light, airy, whilst still cozy. Fab location. Heating was really good & the kitchen was great. Towels were large & mattress on bed very comfy. TV was good & the seating area. Location right next to the main car park. WiFi fast, which was useful, as theres no signal in all of Mousehole on o2 or Vodafone. Was really cute & we would definitely stay again.

The hot water ran-out after one bath on the first day & didnt really replenish for the rest of the 3 night trip. We had to have really quick colder showers, which in December wasnt great. Bed is on the smaller size, could do with a king rather than a small double.

Exceptional

Perfect cosy little cottage for a short break for a couple and their dog.

We loved the location of the cottage, the decor and the light airy feel. The sofa was very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The shower was fantastic and really nice big bathtowels. The host was very friendly and responded quickly.

A microwave would have been useful. Wine glasses missing but the host said they had been broken and would be replaced.

An excellent place to stay in a very beautiful location.

Location is excellent, great view from bedroom windows, plenty of space with separate kitchen and lounge.

No parking at property was the only downside.

Clean, comfortable and well equipped

Cleanliness. The property was spotless and well equipped for our stay. The Location was perfect for walking into Mousehole.

The property only had a door and one window we could open. Condensation and damp in the cottage. No extractor fan for cooking so door needed to be open. We were either too hot or too cold.

OK just OK.

Booked this location because it was central to locations we planned to visit, however we didn't expect trips of 11 miles to take an hour through the perilous hedgerows of Cornwall. Obviously not the host's fault but when you are told travel in Cornwall is "interesting" it should be taken seriously. Food at the Mousehole Deli and Coast Guard Station was good and the Orange Cafe (all plant based) was a pleasant surprise and excellent.

Flat was bare and basic. Communication with the host was the same. The description is confusing, not noting the distinction between Nigel "House" and Nigel "Cottage", which we were told was the host's home but turned out to be our rental. Parking is easily available at a car park across the road but expensive. The highlight of the stay was the most devious shower/bath control I have ever encountered. You could consider it an entertaining waste of time like a Rubic's Cube or an exercise in terminal frustration.

Good

Great little find, home away from home.

Clean, homely cottage with excellent facilities! Even if did have to pay for parking didnt find it too much of a problem with app. Comfy bed, all we needed for a small getaway.

No where to close in puppy at night but no fault of property.
