Very good

Cozy, comfy cottage in a perfect location

The property was very comfortable, pretty, clean, in a great location and had everything we needed.

The entrance to the double bedroom was half on the landing and half over the stairwell. I was a bit nervous we'd forget about and take a tumble. Maybe not ideal for smaller children.

A comfortable well presented cottage.

Its rustic features the mix of old and new. It is very comfortable and would be ideal for a longer stay.

parking can be an issue, although this is not a fault of the property.

Perfect family get away so homely gave us a chance as a family to make some lovely memories

Very homely lovely little cottage. We especially loved the personal touches hand written notes, fresh flowers and little treats it was a joy.

We loved the property only issue was plugs didnt work in the dressing room but not a problem I just used a different room to style my hair.

Magnificent cottage

Very nice and cosy cottage in a beautiful setting. Penzance is in a walking distance. Everything you need is there in the house and Hamish is always willing to help. Definitely a good base for a holiday in Cornwall!

As mentioned in the comments there is only limited parking spaces in the public car park nearby but there is another one just down the hill, so no problem if you know that.

Unfortunatly after the stay the owner sees it as necessary to insult us. No constructive critique, for whichh i am always open, but just insults... "you are filthy people with no respect for other people's property."... so unfortunatly not a happy ending, although we enjoied our stay. The house is in a backyard. There was no explanation where to put the rubbish. So we put the unsorted rubbish into the neighbours box. The sorted things for recycling we left in the house in the designated bags, as we knew nit where they should be put. All the dishes were washed. All tables and surfaces were whiped. There was no broom. So the floor was not cleaned. If that qualifies me and my family as filthy and is worth insulting... i mean is that what we paid for? Sorry. Just crazy.

The cottage reminds you of a small fishermans cottage so was very cosy. We got a couple of logs from the local shop for the fire in the living room and the beds were ever so comfy. It was clean, spacious and an excellent location for such things as St Ives and Porthcurno. A 15 minute drive to Lands End to see the fireworks.

My ONLY dissatisfaction was that it has no sea view as advertised. The sea view and the image that suggested an outside area with a sea view was the main reason I booked the property in the first place. When we arrived, we were disappointed to say the least and felt we had been mis-sold the booking. However, the pros outweighed the cons and it turned into a delightful stay.

2 bathrooms , comfy bed, flowers and biscuits, very good shower, great location

Stairs a bit of a hazard but thats the nature of the property! The warnings were clear anyway and no issue.

Great stay

Style, facilities, location, value.

Excellent stay, only stayed 1 night on a trip around Cornwall, but this was perfect for what we needed, close to all amenities and harbour. Parking available close by. Beds were comfy, and biscuits upon arrival were a nice touch. We ate out for ease, but there was everything we needed to have cooked. A couple of repairs are needed to the property, broken blind in main bedroom and broken kitchen tap but both noted in a welcome letter that they were under repair and this didn't impact on our stay.
