The Chateau on the Lake Resort Spa and Convention Center offers beautiful views and a great atmosphere during the holiday season. The amenities, such as the movie theater and sweet shop, are enjoyabl (Read More)e for guests. The rooms are comfortable but could use some updates, particularly in the bathroom. The staff is friendly and the lobby is stunning. Overall, it is a highly recommended resort with attentive staff and a range of activities to keep guests entertained.

Very good
Nice place. Would probably stay there again.
No breakfast offered. The Christmas decorations were beautiful. The checkin person at the front desk was very friendly.
Too long of wait for service in the bar. Waitress seemed indignant that the cocktail I ordered did not meet my expectations. Not really enough food options and seemed a little overpriced, as were the cocktails.

Awesome.
It was our 48 th wedding anniversary. We were given complimentary dessert at dinner and in our room.
Cafe food . Chicken parm was impossible to chew.

Ok stay, not sure if I'd stay there again through due to extremely high pet fee and parking fee.
location on hill overlooking lake, pet friendly
The pet fee was too expensive. Had to pay an extra $100 because 'conveniently' our pet room on the 3rd floor was not ready so that was $250 for a pet fee instead of an already high $150 fee. We drove all the way from Texas and tried to check in a early and instead of $50 early check in fee, we got another $100 added to our pet non-refundable fee and had to go to another floor or wait a couple of hours in the car until the room was ready. Who wants to do that after a long drive, especially with a pet? Not really buying that there was no rooms on the 3rd floor ready nor was I happy with the extra $100 pet fee for a total of $250 also charging $10 a day for parking in the open lot (or $15 in the parking garage) is not what I'm looking for when staying somewhere. Parking should be included. It is not like there were any activities going on to charge the fee to guests nor was there any other properties around for overflow and it is not a convention center. I asked for a luggage cart but was told the bell hops have to do it and stay with it and felt like it was forced on us then had to tip when we could have handled it ourselves. Walls are thin as well and no microwave in the room. Not sure we'll stay here again because spending an extra $300 for our stay, I can find some place cheaper on the pet fee and no parking fee. I do not mind paying a pet fee, but that was extreme. There's nice hotels closer to Downtown Branson that I'd look into next time or rent a cabin/chalet.

There are better places to stay that cost less.
The location to which we needed for our trip. Bartender was excellent drinks were very good.
The room and hallways where not as clean as they should have been. Expected much better. Dust and carpets need alot of attention

Once was enough
The common area was very nice. The staff was friendly.
The room wasn't very clean. I was looking forward to a bath, but the floor was stained. The sheets were worn. Parking was extra.

Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic. Front desk was kind and brought utensils we needed for takeout desserts we brought back to our room.
Hot water in shower took at least 6 minutes to warm up. Water pressure in sink faucet was so low made it difficult to shave or my wife to remove makeup. Called front desk to inquire on ice availability. Was told machine was on our floor. Went to get ice but machine had an Out of Order sign. Seems like front desk should have known that.

Was decent and safe and had a great view but would probably stay elsewhere next time.
Very Spacious room, beautiful view and pretty property in general. It was pretty quiet, like you couldnt hear anyone between the walls or up and down the halls all the time. Gingerbread village in atrium was also really cool. There was a decent playground for the kids and a Keurig in the room, plenty of parking available, didnt get a chance to try the pool or gym but it looked nice.
Outdated furnishings in room, not very clean, some rude staff. My husband was told he couldnt use a luggage cart unless we paid for the valet/bellhop and they were very rude about it so we had to carry everything to our room in multiple trips. Took Forever to get hot water to come out of the shower faucet and the shower was dirty to begin with, I had to clean it before I could bathe my kids. No breakfast and had to pay extra for parking.

Quant. Great decor for Christmas.
First night there was a noise from a turbine out side window. Following two mornings there was no hot water due to burst pipes.
