Superb

Great vibes. Good location. Nice staff. Yum breakfast. Terrible toilet paper.

The Catbird is a very cool hotel with an authentic laid back and hip vibe. The room was very clean and stylish. The loft was fun for the first couple days and we enjoyed the tv projector / window shade screen.

The toilet paper is terrible. I would have happily paid another $20+ per night and got a decent roll of toilet paper.

Well designed and great value hotel

Wow. This was a great Hotel. The rooms were quiet. The air conditioning worked even in December so I could turn down the thermostat for a cold room. The design of the rooms is impeccable. Everything youd want in a hotel room is there with nice finishes. We loved the projection TV in the room. Breakfast was great. The staff is friendly. And for all of this it was also a good price. They have a gym. An indoor rooftop bar. And outdoor rooftop hot tub.

Not as advertised

For what is advertised in a nice hotel, its on a run down neighborhood surrounded by trash, construction and graffiti. I feel that they take advantage of the surrounding area to charge unreasonable prices for parking which I did not see upon booking on their website or through this app. The options (NOT ADVERTISED) were $52 for valet, $36 dollars to park in their parking area, across the street at chase banks parking lot for $20 every time you come and go, and parking in the street where we were advised to lock our doors (of course we would but the fact that were advised to do so says a lot) and quite a walk to the hotel. As Im currently pregnant, me and my husband felt pressure to pay for valet parking which was right under the building compared to the other parking options since we felt that we wouldnt feel safe walking to and from the hotel with our planned nightly activities. After sitting in our room for 20 mins or so we decided to stay elsewhere. In addition I was not a fan of the late and self check in. We went from a lovely cabin to catbird and the 4pm was not convenient. I called to ask if we could check in any earlier and the receptionist woman who answered was quite rude. Not a hello, what can I help you with, have a good day or anything. Check in is at 4pm ok *click* This is the first place Ive went to just because it looked unique and pretty. But its aesthetic did not weigh out the cons for us.

We'd definitely be back

Great location in the RiNo area, and only a few minutes walk to the train station. The place was clean, and felt roomy. Spacious bathroom. Inclusion of washing machines and dryers was a bonus. Nice to have kitchen amenities - a bit small, though enough for what we needed for a few days. Breakfast was great, and staff were generally pretty friendly and helpful. Easy checkout process.

Not necessarily a negative, though a note that the housekeeping schedule is infrequent - around weekly? Not a lot of space around the bed, which might make it hard to move around. Underbed storage is neat in principle and we only used them a bit, though a bit short in height and is a bit heavy to move.
