Good value

Comfortable warm house, tvs in lounge & both bedrooms. Large bathroom, good shower. Pretty clean and well maintained.

Bed in main bedroom a little lumpy, but nice & big. Neighbours quite noisy until the early hours, just seemed to talk quite loud and some banging noises. Kitchen could do with a few more utensils - tea towel, frying pan, small saucepan & scissors.

Get what you pay for

Affordable price

The neighbours are noisy and walls are so thin you can hear everything. Dogs barking all through the day and people shouting. There was random broken furniture in some cupboards and very little cleaning supplies so when we dropped a glass there was nothing to clear it up with except kitchen paper. The fridge is so loud and the tv is at such a high angle it hurts your head to watch it. There is broken bits and paint peeled off all over and the sofas werent cleaned when we got there. No garden furniture and no extra single bed as there is on the photos.

Excellent value for money

Carfax House has surpassed my expectations in terms of its excellent value for money. The location of Carfax House is highly convenient for accessing the city centre and nearby places of interest. Moreover, the premises are impeccably clean and provide a comfortable stay. I immensely appreciate the owner's accommodating attitude towards our late arrival, which we were sincerely grateful for. Look forward to staying here again!

Big house, close to supermarket, comfortable beds, great price

House is badly soundproofed so you can hear the neighbours often, area not the best and quite dirty, the courtyard is very dirty. Some of the dishes were not clean and the freezer had some weird feathers inside. Wifi was not working well upstairs and one of the upstairs tv's has a blue cast so you cannot really watch something. Some of the old and used sheets from previous visitors were just pushed inside a closet.

Exceptional

Best place to see Manchester's full spectrum

The host waited for us even with more than an hour of delay. The house was cleaned and everything was as expected. For sure I'd come back again and I'll recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Manchester.
