    I would certainly book this budget/student hotel again as it is conveniently situated on a road for taxis and buses close to the central hub of Brighton and the beach and in the price they provide an excellent hot buffet breakfast. Breakfast is served in a room at the end of the corridor on the first floor. There are about three steps up to the room and there is a short stairlift. The young staff were very friendly, and were helpful on the phone when I rang before my visit. Reception staff seem to go at 5pm ish and entry from the street is then by room card. The room was pleasant and the bedding clean and fresh. Mattress was comfortable but I found the pillows rather hard. Bed was re-made and towels renewed daily. There is a kettle with teabags, coffee and milk. Also a good hairdryer, small fridge, TV and safe. There is wifi but be prepared for tons of spam after using it.

    I dont think it does to look too closely in the corners! The edges of the shower cubicle were grungy and the plinth fell off but was not repaired/noticed. There is only one bedside cabinet, and bedside light with sockets, but it is not a dealbreaker. The bedroom doors are on a slow closing strong spring but bang closed very noisily. This was awful in the night especially and kept waking me up. Heating was by electric heater on the wall which was efficient when on, but rather grubby looking along the top or rusty - I didn't care to inspect it too closely!

    Was good price for two night stay , and walking distance to everything
    Breakfast , Comfy Bed.
    Large Pillar in centre of room , had to keep walking around / avoiding it , plus couldn`t see the telly because of it.

    The hotel is in the centre of Brighton. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. bed was ok. No parking,I managed to rent a drive for 3 days using "Your parking space" app in nearby Montpellier terrace
    I had a quiet room at the end of a corridor but some of my friends were woken by late-night revellers coming back at 2 in the morning. rooms are very basic
