An excellent break

My first breakfast was at the International Buffet, great selection but all the food was cold. I also ate at Fish Nets, which was good and went to Silk City for a hibachi show which was fun. One of my suggestions is to have some interactive iPad or board in the lobby to show the restaurants, days and times they are open, if reservations are needed and dress codes. I only had two days so it was difficult working around what was available and when. I read everything on the room iPad but did not know about the Friday night cookout. It is great not having a wrist band and just being able to go and relax.

I have a very difficult time sleeping and was offered a selection of pillows but every one I had was extremely large and very firm. I take a really soft, squishy pillow and was glad I had brought one from home. They did offer an orthopedic pillow but it was really small and firm. It would help if maybe the room iPad could have a tab for meditation music or music to help sleep? Also, the doormen and concierge all recommended the taxi to go to the mall - the taxi was 17.00 for a ten minute ride and, taking Uber back, it was $10.00. Others have told me the same.

Really bad food, service. Room was nice.

The rooms were nice

The food is absolutely the most disgusting food Ive ever had. We tried both the restaurants and the in room dining and it was all absolutely disgusting. Even the soy sauce was watered down. We ordered several times and things were not delivered. They also try to upsell a membership when you arrive. Yuck

Nice view but not worth the price

We had Xhale which give us pass for the rooftop pool which was super nice and beautiful view. Also delicious food. The other pool its where the dj is, super fun! If you want a cabana you do need to get a bottle champagne ($200) tequila ($400) we did a bottle of clase azul for us it was worth it-but just keep that in mind if you like cabanas. Breakfast at the silk city was ok, but its nice to go for the view its beautiful the lagoon so green. The food is very delicious for dinner. We didnt go to the night club. The room view was super nice, the AC not very strong.

Its definitely not a 5 star hotel. Employees need serious costumer service training - Im only talking about management and front desk. Everybody else was super nice bell guys, hostess, servers, bartenders. We got in early for check in, the front desk was chewing on her food and tried to hide while talking to me with her mouth full. They said they didnt have room available because the cleaners would only arrive by 12pm(???). We asked for any room available until our room is ready so we could sleep, nothing available only if we were willing to pay $450. We get another reservation in an hotel close by, as we arrived at the hotel they call us saying our room was ready (8:30am) so how come come when we were there at 7 nothing was ready and they wanted to charge me $450 to sleep in another room for 1 hour??? Anyways I lost $100 for the reservation at the hotel across the street because they told me my room would only be available at 3pm. The smell of the hotel is awful, smells like mold everywhere specially in the hallways. It was my boyfriends birthday we didnt get anything, I request a bottle of champagne to the room we never got it.

Amazing hotel with all the comforts and amenities and a good value for money with for all inclusive.

The hotel was amazing with all the facilities in the block. Beautiful beach on the door step. 3 swimming pools with infinity views, 9 Restaurants, a gym, a night club, spa and massage place all under one roof with all inclusive. It was absolutely great! Staff were very welcoming and smily. An amazing breakfast and dinner experience with cuisines not only from Mexican, but also worldwide. I highly recommend this hotel!

Nothing particularly about the hotel, but we have experienced a bit pushy and high pressure sales pitch by the Hyatt executives trying to sell the hotel membership for the next 40 years. It was a bit uncomfortable experience, as they don't take no for an answer! So, if you can avoid those people you will have a fantastic stay in this hotel.
