Bad

Location is ideal! Stone throw away from the city centre! Excellent shopping areas around as well all at walking distances! Room was clean and tidy!

The heating is a real concern! COLD room! The boiler panel was all locked! Cant change the temperature! I originally booked a 2nd week but cancelled it!

Very good

Comfortable, well located and very good value for money.

Room was spacious and newly decorated and very comfortable. Great location for the train station and Oxford city centre. Quality of the accommodation was very high when considering the price tag.

The bathroom was a little tight, but I completely understand why given the nature of the renovation. I can see how it might get a little noisy as the noise of other residents carries in a building like that and I was positioned by the front door. That said, fellow residents were very considerate and I had no issues whatsoever.

Good value for money in principle but Botley rd closures made access more difficult and expensive

Very comfortable beds and clean room for a group of 3. Easy to check in with a lot of flexibility.

The house is on Botley road, which is closed for another year. This meant a 25 taxi ride each way to get to the place from Oxford city centre, and leave the property to go to Kindlington. 50 that we could have invested into a more central location, should the hosts warn guests about this long term access issue.

Very good

Very good value for money, rooms are spacious comfortable and very clean

Fantastic location, very clean and bed was exremely comfortable. Simple and effective access and local park and ride very convenient for parking the car and good value at 8 for 24-48 hour parking. Communal breakfast area a bonus however, I did not use the facilities

I could not get the heating to work in the bedroom and the window was open when I arrived so room was a little fresh but I didnt really mind. Shower head had a leak which does need repairing but again was not a big problem.

The room was next to the road, was loud at night with cars and traffic lights. There was no heating. Bathroom was just enought to access. Place good for a night crash or last minute booking, nothing more

Superb

We'll located clean comfortable room

Nice spacious comfortable room with private access to garden terrace.

Loo seat a bit wobbly. Extractor fan in shower room didn't work, so a bit of condensation.

Comfortable stay (with some minor niggles) in a nice part of Oxford

Waitrose supermarket is nearby, so shopping was convenient. Bus stops were also conveniently close. The neighborhood is lovely, and seemed safe with many people on the streets in autumn from around 7 AM until it grew dark (around 5:30 to 6 PM)

On the night we arrived, the heating wasn't working. When we tried to contact the property next morning, our phone calls/WhatsApp calls were declined. Only half an hour later, we got a reply via text message, asking to contact another number for assistance. We did - and were told someone would "be by the property later that day" to take a look. Not even a courtesy apology for the problem. And then, there was no follow up on whether or not things were fixed. Only after we arrived back late that evening did we find (to our relief!) that the heating was functional. So a low score for customer service. But the facilities themselves were fine - except that the bathroom/toilet couldn't be locked from inside! I'd hesitate to recommend it for that reason to relative strangers sharing a room. Another issue that will be relevant only for some time (but during that period will matter significantly) is that Botley Road is closed to traffic for repairs. This meant that to get by taxi to the railway station or Oxford city centre, you'll have to take a roundabout route - and we paid 25+ pounds each time. Not to mention it takes over half an hour in traffic... to cover the distance that takes 30 minutes to walk! (Taxi drivers indicated it will take another year to complete repairs on Botley Road - but do your own due diligence on this)
