The Blind Tiger Portland - Carleton Street location was recommended as a venue for an annual company holiday party and exceeded expectations. The property manager was responsive and helpful. The spac (Read More)e had minimal Christmas decor, allowing for flexibility of use and a warm atmosphere. The entire space was clean and spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen. The rooms were described as gorgeous and the inn overall was highly recommended for its stunning decor and convenient location.

Very good

Beautiful trendy and historic property in a great area

Beautiful property Feels like you are at home or a relatives home visiting. Really thoughtful unique furnishings, lovely room, great breakfast spread and coffee.

The noise could use some work Runners on the stairs, oil on the door hinges and something to slow the door down so it cant be slammed would make a HUGE difference.

Parking is first come first served which is not great but manageable if you are unlucky - dont be put off because of it

An eye candy B & B!

Well maintained, furnishings were great with the mix of modern and antiques. Color scheme throughout was very pleasing and restful. The pantry was a very nice option.

Steep stairs for people with knee issues. Our shower was very small as it was not pictured in any room expectations so was a surprise.

On line check in most efficient. The hosts were hospitable and generous. coffee and tea on the house plus candy and cookies, a guest spoiling pantry! The house is beautifully decorated, we had a huge bathroom and a the breakfast was very generous with so much thought and variety.

Beautiful hotel and room. But parking is a nightmare!

Amazing room, super comfortable. The hotel is truly beautiful and perfectly decorated.

Parking is an issue. There are only a couple of spots to park your car, all other guests have to use street parking, which is max 2 hours at a time. This was really disappointing for a hotel of that class (and price). If you travelled long distance and want to arrive and relax without worrying about parking, then this is not the place to stay.

Having a keyless entry into the main door was really convenient.

When I arrived there was a note left on the front door - outside - taped on the glass. I appreciate it a lot, but was concerned because it had all of my info in it - including the door code and my room number. Anyone who wasn't me could have walked up and read the paper and seen all of the info. I found that very concerning especially since I received an email with all of the info that was already on the paper. If the paper had been left inside the door, I would have felt better about it.
