The location is breathtaking. We had a view of the lake and the mountain. So peaceful.

Great value for money if you are looking for a place to just sleep over.

Very comfortable room. Accommodation was clean and neat. We were fortunate to have the Kingfisher room which faced the salt pan.

Owner could be a little more friendly - no welcome or even a hello. Key was fetched from a security box - basically a self check-in.

Suitable for our short stay needs. Great location. I would consider staying again.

The location and view of the SaltPan was just beautiful. The swimming pool was an added fantastic bonus! Safe Parking is available for vehicles. The bathroom with the bath is a treat. Thank you for the bedroom fan as well.

The limited self catering facilities available is somewhat questionable. Although we were given prior notice by the hostess. I feel that bottled water in the fridge would have been very welcome. As much as the microwave and fridge are great, perhaps plates and cutlery should be considered.

The view of the lake and mountain is beautiful and the quietness one needs is appreciated. Accommodation is well equipped. Clean and very comfortable. We both enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend Birdsview.

The venue was exactly as mentioned, ww did not meet the hosts as it was self check in,

No host as it was self check in. Not certain if they do not have any cleaning of room services over weekends, would have loved to have our room refreshed.

Lovely stay and great value

Easy and clear check in process. Secure parking. Everything was clean, comfortable and like the pictures. And the view from outside the room of the lake and birds was incredible. No loadshedding.

The WiFi was too weak to make WhatsApp calls, let alone make work calls or join virtual meetings.
