Absolutely gorgeous! The rooms are beautifully decorated. Great location and Marc was incredibly helpful with accommodating our late check in. He also gave us some great recommendations for Hermanus.

Such a stunning spot and Marc was so friendly and helpful! I didnt use my car at all, I walked everywhere, perfect spot to explore from. The cottage was gorgeous and had everything I needed to bake up storm! Would love to go back.

Lovely Fisherman's Cottage stay for Whale Watching few days

This fisherman's cottage was the perfect little stay in Hermanus. A few blocks back from the main square the road is quiet but everything you need is easily accessible on foot. The cottage was great with a small relaxing lounge area and comfy bed. We were greeted by Marc on arrival and when we left he was also able to give us a great plan of where to stop on our drive over the mountains to Cape Town.

The kitchenette is a little too small to use for more than a cup of coffee or snack with a glass of wine! This is OK as there are so many great restaurants and cafes in the area.

I cannot recommend Marc, as a host, and The Vishuis highly enough. The room we had was beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. Marc is knowledgeable and an exceptional host.
