Superb

I liked that the hotel was right by the train station and downtown.

I didn't like the fact that there was construction next to the hotel. I also would of liked more variety on the hot breakfast.

Disappointing

The best thing was getting that good free breakfast and anytime always free coffee in me.

The only things I liked about the facility were the staffs smiles and great attitudes, location, food and always free Coffee.

The interiors/exteriors looked Drab. The TVs couldn't receive streams from phones, the walkway carpet looked like a moose trampled it. My daughters found a brown recluse in the bathtub and they refused to take a shower so we showered elsewhere. The bathroom sink drained slowly. It just didn't look lively or classy to be close to all the nice locations. I know it's supposed to be a mountain lodge but it didn't have the classy appeal that I'm used to seeing with Best Westerns of that caliber. I have back problems and although cold climates help it, the mattresses sure didn't. It was really uncomfortable. BTW I didn't complain to the staff because the staff couldn't do anything about the not so good stuff.

My room and the hotel was very clean and the bed was super cozy. And the front desk lady was very nice and helpful.

I would stay again with a group especially but would bring my own cleaning Clorox wipes to clean bathroom myself

The breakfast was excellent, the inside pool was great for winter, the free happy hour at night was a real bonus, as was the coffee al day. Perfect place to meet for family reunion. I would give all of this a 10 out of 10.

The only reason I rated the property an 8 was even though almost everything was ideal and wonderful the cleaning was terrible. Walked in to the room with a trash can full of other peoples trash. The entire week we were there our bathroom was gross even though they supposedly cleaned it. Cleaning was a 1. The hot tub was nice but also not clean. Please work on cleaning your place better because this truly is a prefect place for a large family reunion with kids especially.

It was a good thing that we were there for the hockey games because otherwise the noise would have been terribly annoying. Interesting arrangement with the rooms surrounding the pool. An outside room would have suited us better.
