The Barcel� Malaga is a fantastic hotel with a great location. Guests loved the clean and modern rooms, as well as the excellent breakfast with a wide selection of food. The hotel staff were praised (Read More)for their great service. The location, next to the main railway station, was convenient for exploring the city. The rooftop pool and slide in the lobby were fun additions. The only negative points were a lack of cups in the room and a dusty mirror. Overall, guests highly recommended the hotel.

Hotel service at the one-star level.

The reception doesn't understand anything. Canceling a reservation despite assurances that payment can be made on site, then canceling another reservation after paying for the stay and receiving the room. The room is dirty, dust is flying everywhere! The water in the pool is not heated and is cold, no one uses the pool. The terrace is full of garbage that you can walk on. Staying here is probably the worst stay in my life and I have visited 50 countries in the world!!! The staff didn't do anything for me to write anything good here.

A fabulous Xmas markets break

Fab customer service on check in with all the city information we could require, hotel facilities are more than adequate for a city hotel kettle in room roof top terrace and bar and restaurant for when you dont want to venture out again

Although very easy for getting into the centre when walking it seems just a tad far out but in reality is only about 10 to 15 min walk we averaged about 20k steps+ a day.
