Superb

Good location, great price.

Quite good location and amenities. Very good breakfast.

The rooms were quite warm. We needed to open the window and turn off the airco.

Great hotel with everything you need.

Great location. The Restaurants belonging to the Hotel were really good and the staff was outstanding. Aquarium of Malta is around the corner. Great breakfast buffet.

The only thing was, when I asked at the reception the night before we left, how the custom of tipping the staff is I had the feeling I offended them (which wasn't my intention, we were so satisfied with the service, especially the cleaning team, that we wanted to show our gratitude a bit more and knowing that especially the housekeeping staff is usually not earning a fortune). It was a bit awkward and I felt bad for asking.

Everything, this is the best hotel in Malta for sure. The location is great, and it has all facilities you need for longer stay. I will definitely come back soon.

Great hotel with a nice location to explore the island

Definitely the breakfast, the cleaning staff, the kids club and the different restaurants around.

No real (family) activities during bad weather, like board games or pool table. The indoor pool felt cold and upper floors were for adults only

Overall a nice hotel with helpful staff

The breakfast spread was good and the facilities are nice.

The spa and gym are not inside but shared facility and therefore need to carry water, towel etc..

Location, very good buffet bkfast. Nice rooms.

Air con was set to heat mode. It was a very warm weekend and all they could do was switch off the heat and leave it in fan mode, which did not help at all. We were unable to sleep all night and called multiple times requested perhaps a cooling fan or for the issue to be resolved. When we asked for a solution all they said was to open the balcony door. I had a 2 year old with me, opening balcony doors for a full night is not ideal or safe. We were two families both unable to sleep instead of having a relaxing night. Dissapointed as AX Hotels usually offer very good services.
