Very good

Gorgeous property with kind and attentive staff.

Modern and comfortable, yet family friendly. We visited the restaurant to have a drink and feed our baby and they gave us some borrel on the house.

Bedroom was a little dusty, could have done with another vacuum. Especially in the crevices and the radiators. They also didnt get the special request from booking.com for a cot in the room (but it didnt matter in the end so we didnt say anything to the staff).

Exceptional

The hotel contains multiple villas next to each other. Given that we rented four rooms, we had an entire building to ourselves. The rooms were big and clean and so were the comfy beds. The restaurant serves good food.

The roadworks made it a bit tricky to find. Google Maps will guide you the right way though.

Disappointing

Bizarre

The dinner and breakfast were good. The staff did their best.

Major works were going on outside but these were badly phased which meant we had to trudge through mud between the car park and the hotel. The rooms were sparsely furnished and set into the roof so one had to duck down when moving around. We booked bed and breakfast but at checkout discovered that the breakfast was for only one person and the hotel insisted on charging additionally for the second. In 70 years of staying in hotels I have never encountered such a bizarre arrangement. Watch out when making your reservation.

Very good

Nice location with excellent food.

The breakfast and evening meal were excellent.

Although room was large - and we were delighted to be upgraded - I found the decor a little stark. Not a cosy room. An easy chair or two would have been nice.

Not as nice as expected.

Location, view, building style

11_2023; Extreme roadworks. Very poor signage so difficult to find from Sint Martens Leerne side (Northwest). I wasn't informed when I made the booking. Staff was very friendly but gone awol at 23.00 so we could not get another drink at the bar lounge. All in all not a very luxurious stay and it seems that this place is now more focussed on providing meeting facilities as opposed to hotel functions.

Nice hotel, bistro restaurant can improve a lot and n hospitality

Hotel was great. Rooms clean en spacious . Unfortunately there is some road construction work ongoing in front of the hotel. However once inside its no issue anymore.

The bistro restaurant was a bit disappointing. Food was ok but service and hospitality was average, which we did not experience occasions before. We felt not very welcomed, staf was not really friendly while serving our table and the res wine was cold.

A lovely place to stay

From a very warm welcome to a wonderful stay in a lovely environment, everything was just perfect and this made the holiday such a great pleasure for us. We'll be back!
