For me the best location in Koh Tao for swimming

Each bungalow has a magnificent view and they are put in such a way that it feels really private. You may see people around in certain angles, but it is still jaw dropping, specially considering the affordable price. The bed was super big with a mosquito net and sheets!!!! Usually hotels give you a blanket, so if you don't use air con you struggle with it. Sheets are much more comfortable and I loved sleeping there. The room was spacious, the balcony amazing, and the toilet was also great. I can't remember if I had hot water or not. The beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I've visited (I visited most of the ones from the main peer to this guesthouse) because you have a lot of sand (there are no bungalows in theactual beach, which gives it a wider space of pure sand). There are lots of fish, the coral is really good and lots of scube divers (beginners I guess) come here because it is really pretty nice. I went swimming from here to Shark island (only for experienced open water swimmers). You can easily rent a kayak there and go to Shark island kayaking. It must be gorgeous before 10 am which is I think when all the boats come.

As lots of places in Koh Tao, after 10am or a bit earlier it gets full of boats that come for a day tour. It can be a bit noisy. But this is why it is good to stay here, because before that time the amazing place is mostly yours and some people who come with a motorbike. And there is a bit of luminescence so swimming at night is gorgeous too. In low season the restaurant closes at 5pm. This is a tricky one, but maybe get some tupperwars, order sandwiches or sth like that before 5pm, put it in your fridge (you have a fridge) and eat it after you are done enjoying the beach. Room came with a kettle so I had my own dinner with freeze dried food (you could also just do cheap instant noodles or maybe instant oats).

The manager punched me in my face!!!

Leaving this place and never come back.

The managers punched me in my face !!! This is totally crazy ! I'm shocked. I came from another beach by canoe, I was with my 4 and 1 year baby. The small one felt asleep, I looked for some shade for him to nap. the manager asked me not to use one of the many empty chairs without paying 100 bahts. I did not take my money with me, so I found a tree nearby but told me this is also his property... Before I could even move away, he punched me suddently, very hard, and without any reason !!! Shame on this staff ! In front of my babies, he should be fired !!! I called the police directly, but not sure they will do something. I booked a room here just to leave this comment, so the owner know how his staff behave. I'm shocked!

Very good

It was very fun and I hope to go back next time I visit Thailand.

It was in a great location with the beach right next to you and the sea had lots of beautiful coral and fish and the food was very delicious and the shakes were superb.

The only thing I didnt like about this amazing place was that were was no air conditioner so it got very hot but there were still 2 fans.

very nicely set bungalows surrounded by flowers and trees. huge terrace and beautiful view from the rooms. great beach facilities (sunbeds, shade, hammocks) theres nothing around, you need a motobike

the beach could be cleaner. everyone coming to Thailand should try to use as little plastic as possible and set a good example. get a reusable cup for your shakes and coffees!

A quiet romantic place on a crowded island

Our Bungalow had a stunning direct sea view. The restaurant had good thai food. People are friendly. Room had refrigerator and water cooker. Owners struggle to keep beach clean

The restaurant was closed from 5 p.m. It is difficult to get to this resort, the streets are in bad shape., what makes it dangerous to go there by scooter. You need to walk many steep steps, so nothing for weak or handicaped persons. You need expensive taxis to get anywhere. Sea was rough

Good Location, beautiful views, tasty food and breakfast . Also very polite host! Good for snorkelling. Very small sharks are swimming also in the bay :)

Quite hot without climate. Beach is full of trash coming from the sea. They try to clean every day. This situation quite depends on the ocean currents. Better ask the very polite host before you book the stay.

Old and dirty but stunning views and friendly staff

stunning view in a beautiful bay of the island

everything was very old and dirty. When we enter the room the bin was full of toilet paper from other guests. Under the bed it was very dirty and the bathroom was very old and not dlean at all. Ok it was not expensive but cleaning cost nothing. Also no AC available which we knew but it was very warm and only two old dirty fans.
