We did not stay long enough to enjoy the hotel.

I liked how clean the hotel was.

It was Christmas day and we were unable to get into the restaurant as it was at capacity all night.

Restful but cold

Mia was awesome!!! The bar and restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Not being refunded for the first night when I couldnt travel because a storm was coming through my area making it hazardous to drive. Loved the hotel but disappointed with booking.com.

Superb

Other than safety issues of slipping in the bathroom, the hotel was fantastic.

Room furnishings were exceptionally clean and top-notch. A/C was very effective at cooling off the room quickly. Staff was exceptionally friendly and responsive.

While the bathroom was beautiful, both the shower and the floor would get VERY slippery when wet, and there were NO bars or railings to grab onto for support. This is a MAJOR safety issue, particularly for older travelers and others who might be dealing with mobility issues (I was still recovering from torn ligaments in my knee at the time). I spoke with the manager about this concern, and she was very friendly and responsive. Also, I was driving from SW Florida, and traffic issues ended up with me not arriving until 1:45 a.m. on Saturday/Sunday overnight. By then, the police had closed a lot of roads, limiting them to pedestrian traffic only. It was *literally impossible* to *legally* get to the hotel's front door. Bryan Street was completely barricaded off between Whitaker and Jefferson, as were all other entrances onto Ellis Square. I had to drive around a barricade and about 50 yards the wrong way up a one-way street (Barnard) to get to the hotel's valet. This isn't the fault of the hotel, but any visitors who arrive late at night should be aware that the roads you need might well be closed.

Very good

Location is great, staff was helpful and friendly. Room was updated and clean.

We paid up to be there over other good options. Did not feel as though it was worth the additional cost. Shower Pressure was terrible. TV had almost no channels. They have rolled out a streaming/ casting option that was difficult to implement.

The hotel ambiance was spectacular.

The breakfast was good. The location is excellent. The valet/bellhops were very friendly.

The front desk clerk, Kyla, checked us in. She was not informative, she was distracted and not at all welcoming. You are listed as a 4 star hotel thats why we chose it. But she gave 1 star service. After she gave me the keycard she didnt direct me to the elevators, didnt tell me the amenities or acclimate me to the hotel AT ALL! Someone was being checked in next to me and they were getting excellent treatment and I mentioned this to her and she just said sorry and didnt make any attempt to rectify. I later came down to tell her. She was apologetic and gave me the intro but it was too late. Unacceptable.
