Superb

Beautiful house in a wonderful village

Very cozy and well decorated house with all the facilities you may need. Beautiful kitchen with multiple ovens and plenty of working space. The house is nice and warm and the living room has an electric fire place which blows warm air into the room which is so nice for winter. The kind owner welcomed us, standing by the road to alert us of where we should park. Basic needs like soap and toilet paper were well stocked but there was also some milk, cookies, tea and coffee. We loved this house. The photos don't do it justice, we were not expecting it to be this big, comfortable and cozy.

The only slight negative is the location near the busy road. You cannot hear the cars go by, but turning up to park in front of the house can be a bit stressful because of the traffic.

Perfect place to stay with families. Enough space for the kids, great garden, kitchen fully equipped and even some food like tea, milk and toast already there when we arrived.

Excellent stay, highly recommended

Excellent facilities, soft towels, very friendly host, central location, closed backyard was perfect for our little kids.

No dishwasher, but plenty of crockery No smart tv, but satellite / cable connection & WiFi available Double bed was a little cosy for us Dutch people, but good matrasses

Amelia cottage is ideally situated for exploring the historic town of Battle and gave us a home-from-home accommodation which was very comfortable. We had everything we needed at the cottage and a lovely back garden for sitting in.

Superb

This was the perfect home for us. Next time Im in Sussex overnight I'll book again.

Everything was ready to use when I arrived so I didn't have to hunt for anything. Useful info about the bins, doctors etc was easy to find. There were plenty of spare supplies of bedding/ cleaning products/ toiletries etc so we wouldn't need to rush out and buy anything. Everything was thought of.

Battle is a lovely village and very well located for visiting other areas of interest in Sussex

A minor point, the cottage is located on a rather busy main road which made it a little difficult to exit when backing the car out of the driveway.

Ideal weekend away

The cottage is clean, very well equipped, good size with a large garden and terrasse. We stayed there with a 5yo and a 2yo and everything was perfect for us to enjoy Battle and Hastings.
