Would nt stay again needs a good clean up and was too much money for what u got

Bed was ok and room warm

Was dirty and smelt damp , so did nt eat and drink at chequers .

Close to town, nothing special about room.

Tiny shower room. Hardly room to turn the taps. Hot tap, not hot barely dribbles water. Mattress poor. Only enough room for one bedside table. Noisy loo. Paper-thin walls. Is there anything left to criticise.

Room was clean and tidy, Staff went above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Loved the squeaky and uneven floor it adds to the character of the building...

Lovely staff, nice characterful building, great food.

We liked the quirky character of the building; the excellent food, dinner and breakfast; and the staff were wonderful. Very friendly and personable, extremely helpful, and totally lovely.

Room was a little cold; I think owing to a one-off issue with the heating. At dinner the staff were very busy and some people might have said that the wait between courses was a trifle slow; but this didnt bother us.

It was overpriced and we would not choose to stay there again.

The pub area has character and the location is quite good

It was overpriced for what it was, breakfast was not included and was overpriced. The room was not as clean as it should have been and smelt stale.

Nice people but rooms were not suitable due to below average facilities

The staff were nice

We did not have breakfast as it wasn't included in the booking price. The rooms were old and the king room we booked did not have a shower which I didn't realise until we got there. The room that was offered to us did have a shower but the knob was broken and the glass door kept going outwards. There was a lot of noise from patrons until quite late The rooms floor was on a complete angle
