At Patnitop, other than a number of restaurants, there are several roadside eateries selling excellent food at a throwaway price. Also, though popular Indian cuisine is available and widespread one can also find a number of places having Chinese on their menus.

Tea & snacks are available at Nathatop. Do try chocolate Barfi, Sund Panjeeri, Rajma with Rice, Kalaadi which is a type of processed cheese, Pickles (typical of Jammu are made of Kasrod, Girgle, Mango with Saunf, Zimikand, Tyaoo, Seyoo and Potatoes), Khatta Meat (Mutton cooked with Pomegranate or line juice).
