Later on, it was converted into a paid service with extremely low fares starting from INR 3 for 2 km. BRTS is the main medium of transportation in Ahmedabad and is widely used by working class people, students and even tourists. The bus services ply from 6 AM to 11 PM. Keep in mind that buses are super crowded and not as comfortable.
 
By Cab: People often prefer taking a cab or a rickshaw for commuting from one place to another. Although, charges are higher as compared to bus fares yet cabs and rickshaws are more convenient for local commuters.
