By Bus: Ahmedabad Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS), popularly known as ‘Janmarg’. BRTS was launched as a free service for a quarter year. Later on, it was converted into a paid service with extremely low fares starting from INR 3 for 2 km. BRTS is the main medium of transportation in Ahmedabad and is widely used by working class people, students and even tourists. The bus services ply from 6 AM to 11 PM.
