Started off early from Bangalore to the Bandipur National Park. We chose to travel through the Mysore highway and stopped at A2B for breakfast

Lunch at the resort

says

After check-in, we headed to the Sanctuary restaurant at The Serai. Having both indoor air-conditioned dining and a beautiful deck, we opted for the latter.

Relax in the room with coffee

Our room had a mountain view with a sitout deck. We made coffee and relaxed for a while

Bullock Cart Ride

says

Went for an evening bullock cart ride towards the nearby village. We interacted with the villagers and had a fun time. The activity is arranged by The Serai on request. Duration - 1.5 hours

Dinner at the resort by the pool

Had a delicious outdoor dinner sitting next to the striking pool.

Day 2: Bird Trail and Jungle Safari

Early morning bird trail

Went on an early morning guided walk with the in-house naturalist. Was able to spot parakeets, bulbuls, and the rare hornbill. Duration - 1 hour

Had breakfast at The Sanctuary restaurant

Jungle Safari at Bandipur National Park

says

Went to the Bandipur Tiger Reserve which is only a 45-minute drive away from The Serai. We opted for the jungle safari and drove into the jungle. Was able to spot some wild animals. The activity is arranged by the resort for a charge. Duration - 2.5 hours

Lunch at resort

We ordered lunch from the in-room dining service and just relaxed in the room

Evening chill by the pool

says

Headed to the pool late evening and spent some time taking in the calm and peaceful atmosphere.

Romantic dinner date

says

Had a romantic surprise dinner at the resort. It was arranged by the hotel staff on request and was an amazing experience.

Day 3: Check-out and drive back home

Had breakfast at the resort and checked out by 11:00 AM. Stopped at Empire Restaurant for lunch.
