What an amazingly managed trip it was by Arpana Lama from I am Himalaya. I got the reference from one of my friend. We booked a 6 days trip for gangtok and darjeeling with premium 3 star package. I as (Read More)ked for a hotel with a great view of mountains and location should be near mg marg and mall road and I got more than what I expected at both the locations. Every driver assigned to us was very polite and also an experienced. All the locations mentioned in the package were covered. So, I would suggest to go with this tour management company because they manage your trip so well that you don’t need to care about anything and also they provide package in our budget. Would defines recommend this to everyone and also from next time I am going to plan my tour with them only
Thanks very much for the tour itinerary guided by Mr Arbin...it was very elaborate and well done at without any compromise in terms of sight seeing places, hotel stay and transport vehicles as per reg (Read More)ion. Hotels provided were excellent, Drivers were cordial, courteous and helpful. Add to his credit for his prompt service, was that we requested to change our tour itinerary as per our wish in between our scheduled programme and he managed to change it without any hassle. We would highly recommend his service to others for future plans of tour and wish Arbin all the very best in his future business.
Happy with I am Himalaya as a travel tour guide. However hotels were without some basic facilities which I expected them to inform before hand. Specially the fact that people have to walk to reach the (Read More) Mall road hotel since vehicles are not allowed.
Arbin was my field trip coordinator, he managed everything very nicely in Sikkim and Darjeeling. All drivers throughout the journey were on time and all were good. Any info required were promptly answered and also taken care of.
I had a terrible experience with the Himalayan tours & travel. They did not inform us about the most attractive place, the gondola ride at Gulmarg. We found out about it from other tourists, and by th (Read More)en it was too late to add it to our itinerary.
Speaking of our itinerary, it was confusing and poorly planned. We had no idea what was covered and what was not covered. Every time we arrived at a destination, we were surprised to find out that we had to pay a hefty amount out of our own pocket, despite already giving a significant amount of money to the travel agent.
Not only did we have to pay more than we anticipated, but we were also left feeling disappointed by the lack of communication and transparency from the travel agency. They failed to provide us with essential information that could have enhanced our travel experience, and it's unacceptable for a travel agency to provide such a subpar service.
In addition to the lack of information and confusion in our itinerary, we were also extremely disappointed to have to skip a place that we were really looking forward to visiting - Sonmarg. This was due to the poor planning and mismanagement of the travel agent. It was clear that they did not take the time to research the area or properly plan our trip, which resulted in us missing out on an essential part of our travel experience.
Overall, our trip with the Himalayan travel agency was a huge disappointment. We were let down by their lack of transparency, poor planning, and mismanagement. We had to pay extra money for things that we were led to believe were included in our package, and we had to miss out on a significant part of our itinerary due to their incompetence.
I booked a North Sikkim - Gangtok tour through I am Himalaya and it was a great experience. They will provide itinerary based on the places you want to go and you need to provide required documents fo (Read More)r permit. Hotels you can suggest if you don't like to book hotels they have given. Once these things are done, you don't need to worry about anything. Your point of contact from I am Himalaya will do all the coordination with hotels and drivers. Drivers are also polite and they will suggest you the timings and places/points on your way. Overall it is a good service by I am Himalaya and I would definitely recommend.

They took all of our details, sent an itinerary and told us where to fly into, we were happy with their communication so agreed to send a deposit after confirmi (Read More)ng we had now booked flights - the morning they received our deposit they then informed us we were unable to cross the border and told us we would need to go another route.
Whilst communication was good, their mistake cost us non-refundable plane tickets. They refunded us swiftly which was good however I sense this company are unsure of what they’re really doing as they confidently told us of the plan then very quickly backtracked telling us details had changed with the border etc.
I would never recommend this company especially if you’re from the UK and would not be confident in their ability to provide accurate details of how customers could access their tour.
Tour of Gangtok sightseeing & changu ,baba mandir trip 3 nights 4 days. travel arrangements ( car etc ) was good . However choice of hotel was not good and far away from MG Marg and should have been (Read More)consulted with us before quoting the tour expenses. We could also opt for better hotel.
The experience with this travel agency was marred by poor planning and unprofessional behavior. The chosen hotels and cabs were of substandard quality and did not match our expectations. The lack of a (Read More)ttention to detail and inadequate research was evident in the poor selection of accommodations and transportation. Moreover, the staff's unprofessional behavior further compounded the negative experiences.
It was a great and a comfortable experience with family including 4 adults 5 kids to Sikkim,Gangtok, Natula pass, Darjeeling.

Really got a good support from Travel Triangle and through them "I Am Himalaya Tours & Travels". The only issues is that they will stick just to the itinerary. There should be an option to retain the (Read More) vehicle through out rather than just the sightseeing Tour itinerary. Otherwise the drivers were well behaved. Just that they keep talking on the phone most of the times but they do have good control
