All arrangements were good. Enjoyed the trip. Little time management is required. We have missed Elephanta Beach as scuba diving at Havlock took more time.
Andaman Exotic Holidays has been outstanding throughout our trip. Right from our first call to get the quotes till our drop to the airport, Andaman Exotic Holidays has been extraordinarily helpful and (Read More) went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant trip. We steped out of the airport/ harbors and we found Andaman Exotic Holidays guys waiting for us throughout our trip. They were prompt and there was never an instance where we had to wait even for few additional minutes. The nicest thing about these guys is that they were genuinely trying to help us out and were not expecting any monetary benefits. We will definitely recommend Andaman Exotic Holidays to anyone who want to have a hassle free memorable holidays.
Kindly just don't book through Andaman Exotic. They will make you pay many a times more for just to make even a small profit of their. Not even go with the itinerary as provided by them.
The agency ac (Read More)tually cheated on everything they had promised. Provided Private Ferry but they booked Govt. Ferry, despite booking in September in advance they booked the ferry after our arrival in Dec, that to not as per the itinerary provided. Every single day there was a heated argument. Nothing was on time. Kept on changing the schedule as per their convenience. The management of that agency didn’t even listen to the customers.
My friends and I stayed there for 8 nights and 9 days.
1. ACCOMMODATION : We got a good hotel room for four nights. The rooms that they had arranged for the next four nights were the worst rooms you (Read More)can ever see in your lifetime for a price of 3000rs. per night, which had no power, no diesel for their generator, no geyser and in certain places, we were forced to eat whatever they had in their breakfast menu and that too was limited. (For eg: A hotel staff mentioned that we shall get only one omlet as complimentary ) and this was called a buffet breakfast by themselves).
2. GUIDES : We had traveled all through Andaman from the southern end to the northern end during those 8-9 days where we were not provided with any tour guide (which was committed to us in the itinerary). And in many places, the driver who accompanied us from their side, asked us to hire a local guide avaialble for a charge of 500rs. (average)
3. TRAVEL : The only appreciable thing about booking with these guys was the travel arrangements made for us. We had timely pick ups from all the drop off points and we were even provided with decent SUV cars even though we were only three of us. When we though that things are good atleast about the travel, the driver made us run for our return flight when he didnt show up on the last day morning.
4. COMMUNICATIONS: When we raised all the issues to the person who has been coordinating with us through out the trip, he didnt even feel sorry for the mistakes committed from their side but he blatantly said "YOU READ ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS & YOU SAW ALL THE HOTELS PREVIOUSLY IN THE INTERNET, YOU SHOULD NOT COM,PLAIN NOW." The websites had only their decent set of rooms which we thought they ll book for the whooping amount they charged for us but alternatively, they had booked the cheapest rooms in those hotels.
DONT GET CARRIED AWAY BY THEIR ITINERARY AND THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING WITH THIS AGENCY !!!
PERSONAL ADVICE : BOOK YOUR ACCOMODATION BY YOURSELVES.
I had booked a 5 days tour package for family during Dec 16 through above tour operator . I had complied with all requirements and made payments as demanded. Despite the same the tour operator had num (Read More)erous DEFICIENCIES in SERVICE and UNFAIR TRADE practices :
• Deviating from the to the scheduled Tour Itinerary and Timings due to inefficiency and discoordination thus causing harassment to customer.
• Not providing promised hotel accommodation ( smaller room) at Port Blair, and no action to rectify the deficiency despite complaining personally to Chief of tour company. Infact he was rude and spoke in a undignified/uncultured way. I was told that it was not their responsibility and I must resolve the issue with hotel management.
• Complete Negligence in arranging return ferry tickets from Haveloc. My family and kids had to wait in front of office of ferry operator for 3 hours causing unnecessary fatigue and mental agony. The representative of tour operator at Havloc when questioned was rude and replied that arranging for tickets was not his responsibility.
Overall a very bad experience – JUST AVOID THIS TOUR OPERATOR.
