Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Coimbatore Arrival – Ooty Local Sightseeing
Arrive at Coimbatore Airport or Railway Station and proceed to Ooty, enjoying the scenic drive through lush hills, eucalyptus groves, and sprawling tea plantations. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and freshen up. Later, begin your local sightseeing tour covering major attractions such as Ooty Lake, where you can enjoy boating, the vibrant Botanical Gardens with their wide variety of flora, and Doddabetta Peak, the highest point in the Nilgiris offering panoramic views. In the evening, you can explore the local market or relax in the cool mountain air.
After breakfast, head for a full-day excursion to Coonoor, a quaint hill station just 19 km from Ooty. Visit the beautifully maintained Sim’s Park, Dolphin’s Nose for spectacular valley views, and Lamb’s Rock overlooking the tea estates and Coimbatore plains. Optionally, enjoy a ride on the heritage Nilgiri Mountain Railway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a nostalgic journey through tunnels and misty hills. Explore the local tea gardens and take in the peaceful atmosphere before returning.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your return journey to Coimbatore. Time permitting, you may explore any remaining attractions or shop for tea and handmade chocolates as souvenirs. Proceed to Coimbatore Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
