Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Guwahati Arrival and Shillong Transfer

Arrival at Guwahati Airport visit: Borapani Umiam Lake, - Umium Lake, surrounded by beautiful hills and a picturesque location is highly refreshing. It has water-sports facilities and the nearby Nehru Park has an Aviary and Orchidarium. Arrive at Shillong and check-in at the hotel. Evening if time permits visit the local market (Police Bazar). overnight at Shillong.

Day 2 Shillong to Cherrapunji

After breakfast in the morning, we will proceed to Cherrapunji 56 Km, En-route visit elephant falls, shillong peak later the wettest place on the earth. Enjoy a pleasant drive to see roaring waterfalls leaping into deep gorges. The lovely town is also famous for its limetone caves & Orange honey. Watch the Noh-Kalikai Falls, Seven sister fall & also drive to the Mawsmai Cave, Arwa Cave, and return back to your hotel in Cherrapunjee.

Day 3 Mawlynnong, Dawki

Next morning after breakfast, you will be taken to Mawlynnlong. Mawlynnlong is known for being the cleanest village in Asia and also it has a living root bridge. These bridges are unique formations built by the secondary roots of the rubber trees. After the sightseeing you will be on your way to Dawki, which has the clearest river water in Asia. . Dawki is located on the border between India and Bangladesh. It is really hard to ignore the crystal clear water of the Umngot River. Boat ride in this pristine river is a major tourist attraction. After DAWKI you will be on your way back to shillong to the hotel. Overnight in Mawlynnong .

Day 4 Jowai tour back to shillong

In Morning After breakfast proceed to Jowai. Visit Laitlum Canyon View Point, Krang Suri Fall, Evening back to Shillong and overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 5 Shillong Sightseeing Guwahati Departure

Morning after breakfast Check- out from the hotel and Shillong sight-seeing - Donbosco Museum, the Cathedral Church, Lady Hydri Park and Ward's Lake. after proceed for Guwahati Airport/Guwahati Railway Station to catch the flight or board the train for onward destination.
