Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Cochin - Sightseeing

Upon arrival at Cochin Airport/ Railway Station, our representative will assist you in transferring to Cochin for sightseeing. The sightseeing shows you the famous Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jews Street, St.Francis church, Chinese fishing net, Mattancherry palace, vasgodagama church, Cochin Beach, marine drive, check in the hotel, and Overnight stay at Kochi.

After breakfast, proceed to Munnar. On the way, visit the Cheappara and Kallar waterfalls. In the afternoon, check in to the hotel. Then, proceed to Eravikulam National Park. In the evening, shop in the city. Overnight stay in the hotel.

After breakfast, proceed to Munnar sightseeing for the whole day. This covers visiting the Rose Garden, Photo Point, Tea Factory & Tea Museum, the Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, and Top Slip. Evening back to the hotel and overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to Thekkady (Periyar), one of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries in South India. On arrival, check in at your hotel. In the afternoon, there is an option to take a Common Motor Boat ride on Periyar Lake to see the wildlife around the lake or go sightseeing, which includes diverse attractions like Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, Hill Station, and Spice Plantation. Here, you can go for a Wildlife cruise to view a large variety of wildlife like Wild Elephants, Nilgiri Langur, Sambar Deer, Wild Bison, Wild Boar, etc, and quite a lot of unique birds can also be spotted. You can recreate yourself by having optional activities like the Spice Plantation Tour, Bamboo Rafting, Trekking, an Elephant ride, and an overnight stay in  the hotel

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Alleppey to board onto the Houseboat at 1230 hrs. Houseboats are the modern forms of kettuvallams or rice boats, which were used as ferries to carry rice. Lunch on the houseboat and later cruise through the narrow canals of the Vembanad Lake. The boat moors on the lake for the night by evening. After dark, you can enjoy a delicious dinner surrounded by the sound of water lapping the side of the boat. Overnight stay.

After breakfast check out from the house boat and proceed to alleppey beach, marari beach, lulu mall then proceed to Cochin airport/railway station to connect your flight/Train to the onward destination, with sweet memories of your holidays and with a promise to return once again to this part of the world.

What's Not Good: One hotel in Paro Udhamwara Resort. It was not as we excepted . Not recommended at all.

What's Good: ## Bhutan Experience Our journey through Bhutan was largely impressive, with knowledgeable guides who showcased the country's rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes with g (Read More)enuine enthusiasm. The drivers navigated the winding mountain roads with skill and professionalism, ensuring our comfort throughout most of the journey. However, our second night at Paro Rema Resort fell short of expectations in terms of dining. The food quality was disappointing compared to other meals we enjoyed in Bhutan, lacking both flavor and presentation that would be expected at a resort of this caliber. ## Sikkim Portion The transition between destinations proved problematic. Our transfer from Bhutan to Gangtok felt unnecessarily rushed, with a driver who seemed more concerned with completing the journey quickly than ensuring passenger comfort or allowing us to appreciate the scenic route. Upon arrival in Gangtok, we were pleased with our hotel's prime location on MG Road, offering convenient access to local attractions, shopping, and dining options. Unfortunately, the hotel's service standards did not match its excellent location. Staff responsiveness was inconsistent, and several basic amenities were either missing or required multiple requests. Overall, while the Bhutan portion of our tour delivered a memorable experience, the Sikkim segment would benefit from significant improvements to transportation and accommodation service quality.
