Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Cochin - Munnar
Upon your arrival at Cochin Airport / Ernakulam railway station, meet our representative and proceed to Munnar, a beautiful hill station. On the way, enjoy some waterfalls and natural scenic spots. Visit Cheeyapara and Valara waterfalls en route. You will also pass through Photo Point, tea plantations, and viewpoints. Check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

After a sumptuous breakfast, proceed for a visit to Eravikulam National Park (closed in February and March due to breeding season), which is home to various endemic species like the Nilgiri Pipit and Black and Orange Flycatcher. Later in the afternoon, visit famous places in Munnar like Mattupetty Dam, tea estates, Eco Point, spice plantations, Rose Garden, Photo Point, Tea Museum, Blossom Park, and Kundale Dam. After a day spent exploring the picturesque sights of Munnar, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Thekkady. On arrival, check in to the hotel and have lunch. In the afternoon, proceed for a boat cruise through Periyar Lake (on your own). This is sure to be a soul-stirring experience with cool breezes and the chance to spot wildlife in their natural habitat. Later in the evening, you can enjoy a traditional Kathakali performance or a martial arts show (on your own). Return to your hotel by evening and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

After breakfast, check out from the houseboat and proceed towards Kovalam. This beach destination is visited by Indian and international tourists all year round. On the way, the view of the vast expanse of the Arabian Sea and backwaters is a sight to behold. On reaching Kovalam, complete the check-in process and refresh yourself. Later in the afternoon, visit the famous Vizhinjam Marine Aquarium, Analothbhave Mathe Church, and the Fishing Harbour. As the day ends, enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Kovalam.

After sightseeing, you will be dropped at the Trivandrum airport/railway station for your departure.

The trip was good and Rachna of Tour set up arranged for VIP darshan at Mahakal Mandir which was a blessing for us. Arrange one extra itinerary of visit to Dewas temple which was good. The driver wa (Read More)s little bit reserved type and not much inclined to show places.
