Nice lplace to stay

Lovely property, clean with polite staff members. Had a nice meal in the cafe/pub.

Heating wasn't working. A heater was given to our room which made that nice and warm, just a shame the whole building wasn't.

Exceptional

Beautiful and comfortable stay

Hartington Hall is a beautiful property near a gorgeous village. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and evening meals were delicious and very good value. The surrounding countryside is full of walks if the weather permits. It's also a good base for exploring the beautiful Peak District/Derbyshire Dales.

Definitely exceptional

It was a last minuite booking as we wanted to do one more day in alton towers but as a family of 5 it was difficult to find overnight accommodation that wasn't going to cripple our bank account as im on disability living allowance and not working, we had a much more better stay than some expensive places we have been, the rooms and grounds were exceptional and staff very friendly quiet enough you could sleep without noise and breakfast was first class, found this place by accident and determined to book again.

Only problem we had was finding the accommodation due to not knowing the area, especially if your travelling in the dark.

Kept awake by the noises

The staffs were nice and polite. The food was decent. Clean room and toilet. The shower head pressure was really strong. Cheapest room we could find for Saturday night. Free Wifi and free parking.

Room 12 was right above a study room/common room. There was a group of drunk people chatting and we could hear everything! It was so loud that making sleeping impossible. The floor board above us was so squeaky, it's painful to the ears every time someone moved. One of the mattress had a dip in the middle making sleeping very uncomfortable.
