The hospitality from George and his wife was wonderful.

Property was clean, well kept and beautifully decorated. The pool was clean and our children had lots of fun. The village was beautiful and had everything you needed. The view was breathtaking.

A beautiful homely villa

The villa was really spacious and the host was so friendly! On our first day his wife even baked us a delicious cake! Butter, marmalade, orange juice etc were already available in the kitchen. Be aware that you cannot flush any paper through the toilet and you need to throw it in a small garbage bin (which is normal on Crete). Contact with the host was really easy and he replied very quickly via email and text. There is also a nice museum in the neighborhood.

Relaxing stay at a well-appointed villa in the hills

Beautiful villa in a quiet village in the hills. Everything we needed was there, George the owner is very welcoming and helpful. Close to the archaeological sites of ancient Eleutherna, which you can walk to from the villa. Several tavernas in the village and neighbouring villages. We had a very relaxing stay and the pool was a real bonus to cool off after an early morning run.

Hire car recommended to get around the area - the village shop is somewhat limited.

The house is great and George is a sweet host. The house was very clean and just like in the pictures. Georges is very hospitable. I recommand this place.

The matresses on the bed were very hard but that is personal. There is something that George can't help about but that I want to say and that is the barking of the dogs in the neighborhood day AND night!!!

The villa is amazing. You have everything you need, including a few lovely tavernas a stones throw away. Owners George and Popi are two of the nicest people we have ever met in our lives and we felt lucky to have shared their beautiful home. Its excellent value for money too.

Luxury relax in the ancient mountain vilkage.

The place was absolutely marvellous. Pool, well equipped kitchen (these little things like olive oil or some spice for cooking), 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and even a computer to use.with fast internet and Free Wi-Fi - lower and upper terraces - all over the place you could feel like real home. Quiet and village paste life, the birds in the morning, everyday kalimera to neighbours, fantastic view: stars and moon over Psiloritis in the night - it gave us real relax after hard weeks just before our holidays. The kids in the pool or by the screen - and when we wanted to sightsee just minutes away is Margarites, Arkadi Monastery or Archeological paths and museum of ancient Eleftherna, or a little further - the Melidoni cave. Local tavernas especially Filio- also a must-go. As for the beaches or the bigger city - needs a little more driving but actually not that far - Rethymno is 30 minutes ish. The owner is just there when you need anything - answered on the spot nearly whenever we asked anything. And big thanks to his wife for keeping the place crystal clean and for a DELUCIOUS CAKE :))
