    The stay was average. We ended up canceling the second half of our stay and found a quieter place.
    Breakfast was OK, but not enough selection to keep a little variety every morning. Beach was close, but the rest of the city is quite far. You can take a tram, but still it is quite a commute, and the metro is deffo too far to be reached on foot.
    The soundproofing simply sucks. There are little holes between the big glass doors and the rest of the wall, so you can imagine how badly it cancels the traffic noise. The traffic is very noisy in all of Athens, but right on Poseidonos motorway/street it is significantly loud. The staff at the front desk was not too helpful either, not accepting their fault with the soundproofing. The amenities in the room are worn down for sure. Simply said, they have not been investing money back into the hotel at all. Eventually they were willing to change our room. But you can get a much better value for less money on other platforms, e.g. private appartments and so on - so that is what we ended up doing and we canceled the second half of our stay (as I had 2 bookings).

    Great staff. Great size room with a very comfortable large bed. The reception staff were extremely helpful on our arrival to hotel. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. The location is fabulous for all public transport.

    The staff was very helpful, especially the breakfast waiter. The lady did her best to have gluten free bread even if the reception staff did not inform her about our request. Smiling, friendly staff. Very good size of the room, confortable bed.
    The hotel is located near a very crowded, noisy, traffic road. The good part is that it is very close to the sea and the beach. Also, the windows were doubled to avoid the noise, but if the balcony door is open, there is a lot of noise. There were no fresh vegetables for the breakfast, but we had fresh fruits.

    Relaxed day by the beach just 15 minutes from the center of Athens
    Beautiful hotel, clean and spacious room, polite staff, good breakfast buffet with good coffee, nice space with tables next to the pool where you can have your breakfast or your afternoon coffee if you want to sit outside. There are two choices for a beach just across the street for having a swim and sunbathing and many choices for food and drinks across the beach. The hotel is 15 minutes away from the center of Athens and the suburb of Glyfada by public transportation, in case you want to go shopping and find manicure/pedicure, hairdressers service etc.
    There was nothing to complain about.

    We had a lovely one night stay at Tropical Hotel. The staff was incredibly polite and professional and our room impeccably clean. The breakfast was plentiful and everything fresh and delicious. Thanks for everything!

    Nice location
    The room and the hotel are so old and so bad. Pictures were taken 10 years ago probably. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and gave my partner pain for whole day. Avoid this place
