The Waves Hotel, Ascend Hotel Collection is highly recommended for its clean and well-stocked rooms with modern amenities, friendly and helpful staff, and convenient location near restaurants, the bo (Read More)ardwalk, and the beach. However, there are some minor inconveniences such as parking issues and small hallways. The shared pool with a neighboring motel can sometimes be crowded and noisy. The breakfast options are minimal but the coffee is good. The service could be improved in terms of communication and responsiveness. Overall, the hotel itself is nice and satisfactory.

Nothing- it was disgusting
Everything- it was dirty, the heating / air didnt work, no front desk representatives available, finding room keys was difficult and parking is nonexistent- was told to park at another hotel. It was 12:30 in the morning and we are trying to get luggage from our car and travel a block with it

Clean rooms but didnt feel safe, would never stay there again. I am reporting The Waves in Wildwood, NJ to Choice Grou
The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.
There was no one on the front desk. There was a phone number posted to call for help. The office door was open until 10pm where anyone could get in the building. After 10pm we had to go in the back door that was unlocked and anyone could enter the building. We did not feel safe. My sisters room deadbolt lock did not work. My handicap room did not have anywhere to hang garnets and no phone in it.

Great place great location great staff.
We were able to park a car at the hotel. It was convenient to wherever we needed to go to.
Even though we loved the room and the shower, we didnt know that the shower was leaking water out of into the bathroom floor. We kind of worried that it may become a bigger problem in the future for the hotel.

Disappointing
We could not sleep due to noise coming from other rooms, so we checked out and headed home.
We liked the proximity to the boardwalk.
The noise levels from other rooms were such that we could not sleep.
