Great Christmas atmosphere, within the hotel and outside at the local pubs . Recommend Kirby Lonsdale to get you in the Christmas spirit.

Room 7 can be a little noisy over the kitchen area but still a lovely room to stay in

lovely for a quick night away

quirky features, nice big room, lovely big bed. food was gorgeous in the restaurant.

carpets were dirty, everywhere needed a good hoover, lots of the staff were grumpy, parking was really tricky

Perfect location opposite the market square

Great location. Really friendly staff. Lovely vegetarian breakfast.

Bathroom decor could do with a refresh. Ripped wallpaper on the walls and a very dirty extractor fan.

Disappointing

Location

The reception staff booked us into the wrong room. Not a big issue mistakes happen. However we booked in about 4pm and they dint tell us until 5.30pm after being in the room. They informed us as we going to the car to collect some items. I said not an issue give us a few mins and we will go get our stuff from the room. Literally about 5 mins later, as the car was parked near the hotel, we returned to find the staff packing up the room and moving our bags etc into the hall. I found this unacceptable as we had already started to unpack. To top it all they missed items we only noticed after we were moved rooms. Items we didn't recover until the next day as other folk had moved into the room. The attitude and actions of the staff in our opinion were very unprofessional. They seemed to be in a hurry to correct their mistake. We will not be returning to this hotel.
