We made last minute reservations at this place after checking some reviews. The so called deluxe room is dingy, smells of mould, walls have seepage, paint falling off, bathroom had lumps of toilet papers at all corners. The pre booking tariff was Rs 6200 per night excluding all breakfast. To top it, his food tariff for a day was Rs 1400 per person!! (With Rs 6200+1400x2) you can stay at Radissons blu! This room neither has a pool view nor river view. The river view is only for the waterfront villa for a big group of 8. The description of rooms for the couple is very misleading. Its the same description for their stay across all the booking sites. When we asked the owner, his reply was online platforms put those descriptions (As if he doesnt know and unaware)
To top it, this man was very arrogant, his reply was that all the rooms here are of same kind!! He also demanded us to pay for the dinner which he claims that it was prepared at 3.30pm in the noon! ( we had checked in at 1530 hr and left the place at 1630). The thought of wasting our precious holiday at this place and with a host like this was unsettling. We decided to leave right away.
Blessing in disguise we happen to find another home stay in the vicinity - Savedha Farms and Cottage! Its a hidden gem! Beautiful ambiance with riverfront wooden cottages and the best part was the food - organic vegetables and fruits from their own farm. Last but not the least the staff! They were so humble and friendly.
PS: This man is ripping off people with shady rooms. Their rooms cannot be recommended even for cheap budget stay. Its pathetic.
