Excellent breakfast. Plenty of healthy options. Friendly staff. Clean room and hotel generally . Good room facilities but coffee and tea plus kettle inside cupboards and drawers.
Limited hotel parking availability . Room kettle and coffee inside cupboard. I discovered them at last day of my stay.

staff really helpful, we had a upgrade to better room bed really comfortable and breakfast was amazing location perfect
shower really hard to get right temperature so water just very hot , hotel very warm no way of opening window , parking was a nightmare , no parking left in hotel as could not book before stay , stayed in nearest car park very expensive and difficult to work out how to get to hotel from car park as never visited before . hotel staff did advise how to cut through another hotel but wiuld have been useful before vist x

The room was neat and warm. Location was great.
The exterior aesthetics need a bit of work

Location. On the seafront, had a sea view, do expect some noise!
No info regarding the lifts, you may need to walk another 8/10 stairs to room, being older hotel not fully accessible for some! A porter for your bags!

The most amazing stay
We stayed for one night to celebrate our anniversary and the staff made the experience for us. Upon check in the receptionist was so polite and cheery, the hotel had upgraded our room to a sea view room and even with the horrendous weather the sites were still beautiful. We were welcomed into the room with an anniversary card and a bag of delicious chocolates. We couldnt have asked for a better stay they were all incredibly friendly and accommodating. Thank you to everyone at The Old Ship for making our stay truly memorable.

New Years Eve At The Ship
Nice staff, interesting building (a little tired in places), good food, comfy bed.
There are no room options for solo travellers, which is not ideal.
