We were pleasantly surprised at the amenities of the hotel, and plan to return.

Room was very nice and spacious. Clean, and good lighting. Continental breakfast was fine; juice, muffins, fruit and coffee. I liked that there was a coffee maker in the room as well. Really enjoyed the fact that there were skylights allowing the plants to grow to the second story; beautiful!

It would be nice if there was a grab bar in the shower. Tub, obviously a little slippery, as they provided rubber mats.

It was a great and clean hotel with nice facilities and a decent continental breakfast. It met all our needs and we had a great stay.

Very good

This is the second time staying here. Clean and excellent location if you plan on walking for most of your trip.

Very kind staff; location; fireplace

Sleep tax; despite the facility being less busy, all guests were lumped together so we had loud people above us and next to us instead of spread out.

Although everything about this property was excellent, the continuous slamming of doors ruined it.

As an older motel it is kept up quite nicely. The spacious room had all the amenities including a large refrigerator and a microwave which was something rarely seen these days throughout our travels.

The one major drawback was the continuous slamming of doors as people just aren't that courteous anymore. I wanted to tell the desk clerk that they should tighten up their door closers but I doubt that would have happened. I'm sorry to say but it is just for that reason that we will not stay there again even though it was an excellent all-around property that exceeded our needs.

The resort is close to the sunset Beach and 17 miles; the nice breakfast give us a great start of the day.

The facility is aged. We went on a rainy day, the room smells mouldy.

Great location in a nice neighborhood near the ocean, shopping, restaurants, and activities.

Breakfast was mediocre comparatively speaking versus similarly priced hotels such as Holiday Inn Express.

The room was fine but could use an update - carpet, drapes, bed covers, lighting, and furniture.

A wonderful stay and budget friendly, would book again.

Obviously an older hotel but well maintained. The outdoor/ indoor planters were a great retro touch. It was very clean and the room was quite spacious. The fireplace and complimentary logs were a great touch. The continental breakfast was good with a decent variety. I appreciated the real coffee mugs in the room. The staff were extremely friendly.

The only thing that I would call a minor inconvenience was no daily housekeeping, but that seems to be an industry standard these days. It is definitely not something that would deter me from staying again in the future. Also, a plain oatmeal choice would be nice option for the breakfast.
