    I very much enjoyed my stay at the Mile End. Excellent staff and accomodations.
    I arrived Christmas Day and the staff was welcoming, friendly and super helpful in getting me settled in. The interior reminds me of vintage Victorian, almost like walking into history, I really admired it. It is clearly well maintained and cared for. There are plenty of restaurants and shops withing walking distance, for some a decent stretch of the legs, but worth it. There is also the option of the pub on site which is excellent, I recommend the steak sandwich - absolutely delicious accompanied by some lovely chips, crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside - perfection in the chip world. My room was clean, the bed extremely comfortable and I had a wonderful en suite bathroom - which you do need to request otherwise you will have to use a shared one with other guests. I found it to be excellent value to cost and a very good choice of place to stay.

    I think the only criticism I would have is that there is no lift, which is not really a problem as it's only two stories, but if you have heavy luggage or a lot of luggage just plan for that. Also, if you are not a fan of sharing a bath, make sure and get a room with an en suite.

    We have stayed a couple of times now and have been very happy and comfortable there each time.
    Great accomodation, the bed was very comfortable, we had a great meal before we headed out for the evening. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location, was only a short taxi ride to the event we were attending.

    Perfect for what I needed.
    Close to the train station, comfy bed and friendly staff. Great restaurant downstairs with yummy food. Downstairs sound was minimal and finished by 10.30 on a Friday night!
    Wasnt sure where or who to leave the key with as no one was downstairs when I left.

    Nice old hotel with beautiful rooms!
    Old rustic property however the rooms have been renovated beautifully. Massive shower, bed and all you needed for a one night stay thats close to the airport.
    Only complaint I would have is upon check in it was confusing as to where to actually go- the 3 young girls at the desk took their time to notice me standing there waiting and were quite unprofessional arguing over who had to take me up to my room and grab the key to show me. I get it I was young once too but do your job lmao. A lot of doors and stairs to go through to get to the room so would be great if there was an elevator or someone to help take your heavy luggage up for you!
